- Support I really like this photo. At full size, pixel-peeping shows imperfections, such as very narrow red banding around some bright areas (though your eye might see that, too), and not all parts of the photo are equally sharp at full size, but it's a big, sweeping panorama that isn't well judged that way, it's really striking, and it's a nice slice of life. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 22:46, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
- Those colors only appear for a very short period in the afternoon. I had not planned to take that photo, but seeing those colors I ran to assemble the tripod --Wilfredor (talk) 22:58, 19 February 2021 (UTC)

- Oppose overprocessed Excessive contrasts, the blacks are too dominant, the colors pushed over the limit. There's a potential at the beginning for sure (special clouds, nice light in the building, interesting composition), however, the post-treatment ruins it, sorry, I don't buy it -- Basile Morin (talk) 11:58, 20 February 2021 (UTC)
- Support As Ikan notes, there are some small issues at pixel-peeping level. But the light is so special and I can see why you rushed to capture it. I wonder if the stitching process has slightly compressed the image vertically -- the clock is a little bit vertically squashed. I have no idea what Basile is seeing. -- Colin (talk) 18:45, 20 February 2021 (UTC)

- Comment Colorful sunsets like this one happen from time to time up here in the northern winters. The colors are out of this world and you make quick dashes to get your camera (or 2)!! I think you may have to have seen it to believe it. The vivid colors are due to the special properties of the atmosphere (tiny ice crystals hanging in the upper layers) during winter temperatures and the angle of the sun. This sunset was probably even more red IRL since most sensors have a hard time capturing ultra-red colors, they usually turn into yellow or perhaps orange in the photo. A few years ago, I took photos and fed into the computer to make side by side comparisons with the live sky. The difference was staggering. --Cart (talk) 10:25, 21 February 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose Overprocessed, more space needed in the upper part. —kallerna (talk) 12:48, 21 February 2021 (UTC)
