- Info A ring-billed gull in Brooklyn. I know some have a preference for birds on rocks/water/sand rather than metal, but I think the overall quality and typical context makes this a good FP candidate. all by — Rhododendrites talk | 19:56, 18 March 2021 (UTC)

- Support Good for me, and seagulls are part of the New York City ecosystem, so it's appropriate to show one perched on a railing or whatever. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 21:01, 18 March 2021 (UTC)

- Info Could you please add more information to the image description, e.g. male or female, juvenile or adult, breeding or non-breeding etc.? (for you as a birder that might all be obvious; however, other people might not know that much about this specific species). Also: half a sentence of what "Red Hook" is would be nice. --Frank Schulenburg (talk) 03:45, 19 March 2021 (UTC)
- Done, though I'm not aware of any way to tell male from female on sight. Feel free to edit it. — Rhododendrites talk | 04:11, 19 March 2021 (UTC)

- Support I was going to oppose because this shot is too easy and the composition simple but the sharpness (look at the eye!) impressed me RolfHill (talk) 13:40, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
- Support Excellent quality, and for that alone I think it might be one of the best pictures out there. Though, we might have to concider demoting some if we start to get too many seagulls as FP in the future. --Ximonic (talk) 08:44, 21 March 2021 (UTC)
