Crest That of the regiments and separate battalions of the Nebraska Army National Guard: On a wreath of the colors Or and Sable, an ear of corn in full ear partially husked Proper. Motto TI RAH I KUTS (Bold Ones). Symbolism Shield Yellow is the color traditionally associated with Cavalry. The black bendlet stands for integrity and military strength. The Pawnee Indian scout represents Nebraska and the early history of the United States Army Cavalry in that state. Crest The crest is that of the Nebraska Army National Guard. Background The coat of arms was approved on 16 September 1988. |
