[edit]Description2020Nov9-C-17-Phoenix-offload-compaction-cart-HR.jpg |
English: An 80,000 pound compaction cart is unloaded from a C-17 jet at Phoenix Airfield. It was the heaviest single piece of cargo to be airlifted by a C-17 to Phoenix Airfield.
Additional weight is added to the cart and pulled by a tractor over snow to compact the snow to the hardness of concrete. |
