Français : Le duc de Noailles est ici représenté en pied, de trois-quarts, portant le cordon-bleu du Saint-Esprit et le bâton de maréchal. Carrière: servit dans les rangs des gardes du corps du Roi (capitaine en 1661, brigadier en 1665), maréchal de camp (1677). Gouverneur du Languedoc et duc et pair (1678), décoré de l'ordre du Saint-Esprit (1682), gouverneur du Roussillon (1682-1689), commanda l'armée d'Espagne (1689), nommé maréchal de France et chevalier de Saint-Louis (1693).
