Deutsch: Nachdem sich die Gemeinden im Bezirk Leuk unabhängiger und selbständiger machten, bezeugten sie dies mit dem griechischen Kreuz. Nachweisbar ist das in den Gemeinden von Leukerbad, Agarn, Guttet und Inden. In Albinen ist noch der Dreiberg hinzugekommen, ansonsten hat das Wappen sich in der urtümlichen Form erhalten. In den Gassen Albinens ist das Kreuz über den Pforten der Spycher zu sehen. Eindrücklich präsentiert es sich aber in der ovalen Kirche der Gemeinde. Der Dreiberg symbolisiert Eigentum und Unabhängigkeit. Das Kreuz drückt hier die tiefe Verbundenheit zur Kirche aus. Die Menschen bringen überall dort ein Kreuz an, wo sie auf die Gnade und den Schutz Gottes hoffen. |
