Français : Charité de Saint Martin ou Saint Martin partageant son manteau
Réplique autographe du tableau exposé au Salon de 1819 (no 844 du livret, Saint Martin partage son manteau pour en couvrir un pauvre) et envoyé en 1820 pour orner l'église de Cotignac (Var). Ce tableau a été commandé à Angélique Mongez, élève de David et Regnault, en 1841 pour le Musée Royal pour la somme de 3000 F, puis porté sur les inventaires du Louvre (Inv. 6722). Il fut déposé en 1850 dans l'église de Richebourg, puis placé avant 1906 dans l'église Saint-Martin de Grosrouvre
