This paleontological restoration is inaccurate, or its accuracy is disputed.

Reason: Lack of setal blades and reduced neck region (shared across radiodonts); frontal appendages without key characters (e.g. angled shaft and long endites) of Houcaris saron (=Anomalocaris saron) ; outdated reconstruction with body based on different species (Anomalocaris sp. ELRC 20001); incorrect head sclerite (ovoid instead of irregular in A. sp. ELRC 20001, note the body parts other than frontal appendages are unknown in H. saron).
