Notes Ebony games table set with nacre with heraldic white eagle and two chained-up Cossacks (?) or Turks, silver- and goldplated statues. The claim that Maximilian II Emanuel, Elector of Bavaria wanted to glorify the Polish state and not his own achievements is not very convincing. A gift to his Polish wife, Teresa Kunegunda Sobieska, would also include Bavarian elements, a lion in the decoration, as she become Electress of Bavaria and not only eagle, hence the work was not commissioned by the Elector of Bavaria. The frame of the tabletop contains a board for chess/draughts and backgammon.
