Description
English: So-called “Ludovisi Ares”. Pentelic marble, Roman copy after a Greek original from ca. 320 BC. Some restorations in Cararra marble by Gianlorenzo Bernini, 1622.

Italiano: Cosiddetto "Ares Ludovisi" o "Marte Ludovisi". Marmo pentelico, copia romana del 320 a.C ca. Alcuni restauri del 1622, in marmo di Carrara (per esempio l'elsa della spada), sono opera di Gian Lorenzo Bernini.
