English: Floating waterplants on the surface of a pond at the banks of the river Elbe. Associated species: Azolla filiculoides, Salvinia natans, Ricciocarpos natans, and a few Lemna minor.
Deutsch: Herbstlicher Schwimmteppich mehrerer flottierender Wasserpflanzen auf der Oberfläche einer Altwasserbucht an der Mittelelbe. Zu sehen sind die vergesellschafteten Arten Großer Algenfarn (Azolla filiculoides; ein eingebürgerter Neophyt), Gewöhnlicher Schwimmfarn (Salvinia natans; unten links), einige Thalli des Schwimmlebermooses (Ricciocarpos natans; heller grün) sowie einzelne Kleine Wasserlinsen (Lemna minor).
