1744 schuf Göz für eine juristische Disputation an der Universität Dillingen ein monumentales Thesenblatt mit dem Porträt des Wittelsbacher Kaisers Karl VII. Die in der älteren Literatur zu findende Erwähnung eines lebensgroßen Kaiserbildnisses bezieht sich wohl eher auf dieses Thesenblatt als auf ein Ölbild (vgl. E. Isphording, Gottfried Bernhard Göz - Ölgemälde und Zeichnungen, Textband, Weißenhorn 1982, S. 210).
