Creato sulla base della seguente descrizione testuale: "Drappo del rapporto di 1:2 bordato d'oro, formato da tre teli, terminanti a pendone ugualmente frangiati, il centrale rosso [carminio], largo tre quinti della larghezza totale, i laterali azzurri larghi ciascuno un quinto di essa. Al centro lo stemma comunale munito dei suoi ornamenti, accostato in capo alla dicitura disposta ad arco - Comune - e in punta - di Besenello - a lettere d'argento. Il tutto pendente da un bilico appeso all'asta mediante cordoni a nappe d'oro."
