Français : A deux ou trois lieues S.-S.-O. de Sartène, dans le col nommé la Bocca delia Pila, j'ai observé deux Stantare hautes de 2m5o sur om70 de large, inclinées de même que les précédentes et leur ressemblant de tout point. L'une, dont le sommet est cassé, se trouve engagée dans un mur en pierres sèches. (C'est l'usage, en Corse, d'enclore ainsi tous les champs cultivés.) On s'en est servi comme d'un piédroit pour la porte qui donne accès dans le champ.
Le nom du col où se trouvent ces deux monuments est évidemment tout moderne, et tiré de leur forme qu'on a comparée à un pilier. On les connaît encore sous la dénomination des deux Stantare. |
