English: The Haus Weitmar in Bochum, Germany. The Haus Weitmar was a manor built in the 12th/13th century in the form of a little moated castle. It was enlarged in the following centuries, but destroyed by bombs in World War II. In 2010, a new building, called Kubus, was erected in the ruins; it is used for exhibitions and cultural events. |
