Summary
[edit]DescriptionCBS classic logo.svg |
English: Long-time secondary logo of CBS, minted in 1966 and designed by William Golden. The eye symbol used in this logo is based upon an 1850s Quaker design of the all seeing eye, and was first unveiled in October 1951 with no accompanying copyright. No copyright was ever filed, so that particular aspect of the image qualifies it for public domain. However, this image may still be subject to trademark restrictions. See Nikken logo in Threshold of originality: United States (see copyright's office letter page 7). The eye symbol is common. |
