Deutsch: Das Wappen erscheint im 18. Jahrhundert.
Object history
Deutsch: Das Wappen vereinigt den Turm der Herren de La Molière und die Sporenräder der Lehnsherren de Font und La Molière. Am 1. Januar 2017 fusionierte Murist mit den ehemaligen Gemeinden Bussy, Estavayer-le-Lac, Morens, Rueyres-les-Prés, Vernay und Vuissens zur neuen Gemeinde Estavayer. Bei dieser Fusion wurde das Wappen von Estavayer-le-Lac beibehalten.
