Description
English: The interchangeable lens Canon EF 50mm / 1:1.8 Mk I for SLR cameras. A "standard" prime lens to fullformat SLR and a fast portrait lens (FF-equivalent of 80 mm) to APS-C cameras. Compared to the very low-cost current version II (replacement took place ~1991), the build quality and construction is superior (some differences: metal mount and more solid body [that's why the weight is 187g vs. 130g], wider central focus ring, distance scale) — the optical quality should be about the same.
Deutsch: Das Wechselobjektiv Canon EF 50mm / 1:1,8 Version I für Spiegelreflexkameras. An KB-Format ein "Normalobjektiv", wird es an APS-C-Kameras bei einem KB-Äquivalent von 80 mm zu einem lichtstarken Porträtobjektiv. Gegenüber der sehr preisgünstigen aktuellen Version II (Ablösung fand schon um 1991 statt) ist die bauliche Qualität und die Konstruktion als hochwertiger einzustufen (einige Unterschiede: Metallbajonett und stabileres Gehäuse [deswegen wiegt es auch 187 g statt 130 g], mittiger, breiterer Fokusring, Entfernungsskala) — die optische Leistung dürfte etwa identisch sein.
