Description
Español: Retrato del príncipe de Asturias, Carlos de Borbón (1748-1819), que llegaría a reinar como Carlos IV. Y el príncipe aparece de pie y de tres cuartos, vestido con casaca roja y chaleco blanco decorados con adornos dorados y florales alrededor de los botones. Además, el retratado porta la banda y la placa de la Orden de Carlos III, el Toisón de Oro y la placa de la Orden del Espíritu Santo. La parte inferior del lienzo parece haber sido seccionada del mismo, ya que es idéntico al que se custodia en el Banco de España, que representa al monarca hasta las rodillas y con su mano izquierda descansando sobre una mesa. Y hay otro retrato semejante en el Real Monasterio de la Encarnación de Madrid.
