Description |
The detail shows the central zone of the right-hand double window. A section of the right-hand window panel is depicted with St Barbara. Her father threatens her with a clenched fist if she does not renounce the Christian faith. Behind her rises a tower. Dais is the familiar distinctive sign for St. Barbara. The tower Mehoffer depicts here is also a reference to his homeland. The model was the carpenter's Tower in Krakow. |
