Description
English: Depicts the charge of a squadron of the 9th Lancers against the Prussian Dragoons of the Guard at Moncel on the 7th September 1914. This was Cavalry action in the First World War when cavalry charged with both sides at full gallop. The 9th Lancers casualties were 3 killed and 7 wounded compared to heavy losses suffered by the Prussian Dragoons.
