Deutsch: Christian Graf zu Stolberg. Die von Goethe begeisterten Brüder, selbst Dichter und Mitglieder des Göttinger "Hains", besuchten Goethe im Mai 1775 und veranlassten seine Teilnahme an der Schweizer Reise. Unmittelbar nach Goethe trafen sie auch in Weimar ein, 1784 mit ihren Frauen. Die Beziehungen schliefen nach Friedrich Leopold Graf zu Stolbergs Übertritt in die katholische Kirche ein.
