Description
Español: Escudo de Mons. Domingo Díaz Martínez, adaptado de la descripción del original:

"El escudo del Señor Arzobispo [Domingo Díaz] emplea la figura de cáliz, destacando en su interior aquellos elementos particulares de su ministerio episcopal.

La cruz es el encuentro con Dios (gracia) y con el pueblo (entrega). El color rojo representa la Eucaristía y el blanco [plata] representa al Bautismo.

La estrella simboliza a María como estrella de la Evangelización. El color azul es el encuentro con la Santísima Virgen María. Los panes son el signo de la caridad y la misericordia. Finalmente el monte es el lugar donde el hombre busca encontrarse con Dios.

Todo el escudo queda enmarcado por una franja de color blanco [plata], que contiene seis cruces negras, se trata del palio metropolitano, propio de los arzobispos, y que recuerda a Cristo Buen Pastor, que lleva en sus hombros a la oveja que estaba perdida.

Otros dos elementos particulares del Arzobispo son la cruz arzobispal, de color amarillo, con sus dos travesaños horizontales; y el timbre heráldico, bajo la forma del capelo arzobispal, con sus diez borlas, adecuadas en cuatro series en cada extremo.

El pergamino que se halla a los pies del escudo contiene el lema de nuestro Arzobispo: 'el Señor es mi fortaleza'".
