English: Per fess Argent and Gules, a fess dancetty bendy Or and Vert between a rose Gules, barbed and seeded Vert, in chief, and a water wheel Argent in base. Above the Shield is placed a Coronet appropriate to a statutory Area Council, videlicet:- issuant from a circlet eight paling piles (three and two halves visible) Or and eight garbs (four visible) of the Last, banded Sable, and on a wreath of the Liveries is set for Crest a roundel per bend Gules and Sable charged with a bear 's head couped Argent, muzzled Azure, and on a Compartment composed of earth and coal below the Shield and inscribed with this Motto "Cuim Air Adhart Comhla", are set for Supporters, dexter, a Roman soldier Proper, holding in his exterior hand a shield Gules charged with three mullets in chief Argent, and sinister, a miner supporting with his exterior hand a pickaxe, head downwards, Proper.
