Object history
English: Coat of arms of the Danish town Holstebro. Based on a city seal from 1584 which is likely to be much older. The arms depicts St. George the patron saint of the city on a canting bridge ("bro" means bridge in Danish).
Dansk: Holstebros byvåben. Baseret på bysegl fra 1584, der sandsynligvis er langt ældre. Våbnet viser Skt. Jørgen, byens skytshelgen, på en talende bro.
