English: Coat of arms of the former Danish municipality of Sindal. Registered 1974. The scythe is a symbol for agriculture and also commemorates the peasants of the area who fought to restore king Christian II to the throne in 1534. The sun or is canting as Sindal means sun-valley.
Dansk: Den tidligere Sindal Kommunes våben. Registreret 1974. Leen er et symbol på landbrug, og på de bønder fra egnen, der i 1534 kæmpede for at bringe Christian II tilbage til tronen. Solen er talende, Sindal betyder sol-dal.
