In 2002 article Spain's Chronicler of , Vicente de Cadenas y Vicent, argued that as the sole heir to this title Luís Alfonso de Borbón, who is also now the senior representative of the Bourbon dynasty by male primogeniture, should use the familiar BorbónAnjou with an escutcheon of Bourbon proper.
