Deutsch: Das Wappen wurde am 19. September 1957 vom Innenministerium Baden-Württemberg genehmigt. Die Tanne ist das Symbol des Waldreichtums der Gemarkung Durlangen. Die Farben Silber und Rot sind die Wappenfarben der Stadt Schwäbisch Gmünd, deren Bürger in Durlangen Grundbesitz hatten.
