Description
Svenska: Stora Daurerska huset på Södermalm i Stockholm, xylografi efter teckning av Carl Svante Hallbeck, 1861. Bilden föreställer nuvarande Bellmansgatan med pumpen som gav namnet Maria Brunnsgränd, där Bellman var född "i egendomen N:o 24 vid denna gata". Han var i verkligheten född i nr 22, det s.k. Daurerska huset, som låg i hörnet av Bellmansgatan och Hornsgatan.

Bellmansgatan fick sitt nuvarande år 1871 efter skalden Carl Michael Bellman som föddes i huset nr. 24 på dåvarande Björngårdsbrunnsgatan. Bellmans födelsehus avsåg det så kallade Stora Daurerska huset som låg vid hörnet Bellmansgatan / Hornsgatan. Huset revs 1901 i samband med breddningen och sänkningen av Hornsgatan.
