Deutsch: Speicher Deichstraße 27 in Hamburg-Altstadt 1740,
Die Geschichte des ältesten noch erhaltenen Speichers in Hamburg reicht zurück bis in das Jahr 1465. damals gehörte es einem gewissen Hinrich Bergmeier. 1773 verkaufte der Jurist Daniel Jencquel den Speicher an den Kaufmann Caspar Voght, der ihn für seinen umfangreichen Seiden- und Leinenhandel benötigte. Kurze Zeit später übergab dieser sein Geschäft an seinen Sohn Caspar Voght jr. (der spätere Baron Voigt), der es mit seinem Partner Georg Heinrich Sieveking weiterführte. 1814 ging der Speicher in den Besitz der Kaufmannsfamilie Doormann über, und 1840 kaufte ihn Theodor Dill für die Firma Albrecht und Dill, die mit Rohkakao und Gewürzen handelte. 1889 wurde der Speicher an die „Interessengemeinschaft des Zippelhauses zu Bardowiek“ verkauft und heißt seitdem auch Bardowieker Speicher. Er diente den Obst- und Gemüsehändlern aus Bardowiek bei Lüneburg als Zwischenlager, nachdem sie zugunsten der Stadt ihr angestammtes Zippelhaus aufgegeben hatten, das in unmittelbarer Nähe der Hauptkirche St. Katharinen gestanden hatte. Der „Bardowieker Speicher“ gehört heute der Stadt und wird von der Sprinkenhof AG verwaltet. This is a photograph of an architectural monument.
