Description Hopfer, Daniel (ca 1470-1536): Design for a Monstrance, Two angels supporting the Host at centre; the 12 apostles in niches at upper centre. Christ and last Judgement at top. (B. VIII, 122, Holl.133, i/ii, before the Funck number), etching, a good impression, trimmed on or just within the platemark on three sides and to subject above, a rubbed spot below emblem (initials “D.H” erased), other light abrasion, creases and light stains, glued at edges to another sheet. 360 X 156mm.
