English: Old railway bridge (damaged in World War II) at the Elbe River near Doemitz, northern Germany, in state of the year 2011.
Deutsch: Ruine der im Zweiten Weltkrieg zerstörten und nicht wieder aufgebauten Eisenbahnbrücke bei Dömitz/Mecklenburg (aber auf der linken, niedersächsischen Seite der Elbe). Blick nach Nordosten durch den festungsartigen Bau am westlichen Beginn der Brücke. Zu sehen ist der Zustand 2011 nach einer ersten vorläufigen Instandsetzung (Beseitigung von Bewuchs, Aufräumarbeiten, Holzabdeckung eines zuvor offenen Bereiches) durch den neuen niederländischen Eigentümer des Bauwerks. (Vor diesen Maßnahmen sah es dort noch so aus.) |
