Italiano: Ritratto di Luigi Saverio conte di Provenza. In occasione del matrimonio di Maria Giuseppina con il conte di Provenza, avvenuto nel 1771, vennero eseguiti vari ritratti di François Hubert Drouais, artista da sempre protetto dal conte di Provenza, ma solo nel 1772, dopo le nozze, nominato primo pittore, titolo esibito dall'artista al Salon dell'anno succesivo. Il ritratto Luigi Saverio risale al 1771, come quello della sposa Maria Giuseppina presente sulla stessa parete. In questa stessa stanza, nella parete a nord si trova un altro ritratto di Maria Giuseppina sempre del Drouais, ma del 1768 raffigurante la fanciulla in età più acerba ed in atteggiamento pensoso. Questi ritratti sono tutti dominatii da questa vena intimistica che caratterizza lo stile dell'autore che seppe rinnovare la tradizione francese del ritratto di parata del Rigaud e dei Van Loo. Il tema dell'infanzia era particolarmente congeniale all'artista, apprezzato da Diderot e nominato artista dela corte francesenel 1757. L'arrivo dei dipinti di Drouais in Palazzo, che sembra non aver creato seguito nella pittura locale, rimane difficile da determinare, soprattutto se direttamente attraverso Giuseppina di Savoia o con il tramite della principessa Clotilde. (Cfr. S. Pinto, 1987, p. 99) ; Nell'inventario del 1966 il dipinto si trova al secondo Piano, appartamento del Re, Foresteria. Magazzino (36). Vi è però un'aggiunta a margine con scritto: "App. Regina. Sala del terrazzo 18/9/79"; infatti nel volume del 1971 riguardante l'Appartamento di Madama Felicita non viene citato.
