Description
The artist's daughter Caroline Elisabeth Nanny Jerichau (1853-1897), also called Agnete. In 1873 she married the army captain Frederik Albert Læssøe (1848-1903). She studied painting, and her husband's employments in Persia and India made it possible for her to write and illustrate books about exotic places.
