Description
English: Coat of arms of the city of Caldas; in Antioquia, Colombia.
Español: Escudo del municipio de Caldas; en Antioquia, Colombia.
Es un escudo de forma española sencilla. Cuartelado en cruz. En el cuartel diestro del jefe, en el esmalte de metal de oro, lleva el caldero (...), complementado esta vez con un búho que supera una lamparilla griega (...). El cuartel siniestro del jefe, en azur esmalte, ostenta el frontis del templo (...) va de un color plata relievado de sable. En el diestro de punta, sobre el esmalte de metal oro, lleva de sínople una lira con la pluma (...). En el sinietro de punta sobre el esmalte de sinople, lleva de plata una puerta de dos alas abiertas, y los anillos olímpicos, en sable (...). Externamente lleva dos cintas en plata con letras de sable. La superior identifica a CALDAS , ANTIOQUIA. La inferior dice el lema de la ciudad: UNIDAD, CULTURA Y PROGRESO. [1]
