Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Coat of arms of Ferdinand the Catholic from 1513, when he was proclaimed king of Navarre. The conquest of Navarre and its subsequent incorporation into the Crown of Castile, resulted in the inclusion of the chains in the coat of arms of the Spanish monarchy. It seems that Ferdinand the Catholic had originally thought about the inclusion of Navarre in the crown of Aragon. This explains its location in the barracks corresponding to the Aragonese Crown, specifically the Navarrese emblem appeared split with the sticks of Aragon.
