Description
Español: Detalle de la puerta gótica o «Puerta de los Apóstoles» de la Catedral de Santa María de Valencia (España). Este escudo se ha atribuido por algunos autores a la ciudad de Valencia y por otros a la familia del obispo Jazperto de Botonach (1, 2, 3). Aparece junto a otros escudos de familias importantes que contribuyeron a la catedral, incluidos varios escudos con el Señal Real (1). Se asemeja a una imagen (con una ciudad amurallada) que aparece en uno de los primeros sellos de la ciudad, de 1312, lo que puede haber dado pie a la confusión.
Català: Detall a la porta gòtica, o «Porta dels Apòstols», de la Catedral de Santa Maria de València (Espanya). Aquest escut s'ha atribuït per alguns autors a la ciutat de València i per altres a la família del bisbe Jazperto de Botonach (1, 2, 3). Hi apareix al costat d'altres escuts de famílies importants que van contribuir a la catedral, inclosos diversos escuts amb el Senyal Real (1). S'assembla a una imatge (amb una ciutat emmurallada) que apareix en un dels primers segells de la ciutat, de 1312, i això pot haver donat peu a la confusió.
