Blazon InfoField | Español: Primer cuartel: Un castillo de oro en campo de gules como símbolo de pertenecer al reino de Castilla en la antigüedad y actualmente de pertenecer a la Comunidad Autónoma de Castilla y León. Segundo cuartel: Pino plateado en fondo verde como símbolo del predominio de los pinares de la localidad y como símbolo también de la primera riqueza del pueblo y principal fuente de ingresos del Ayuntamiento. Entado: un cardo plateado con fondo azul claro celeste, símbolo del antiguo apellido del pueblo (Cardosa), que al parecer fue perdido a causa de enfrentamientos mantenidos con el pueblo vecino de Gumiel de Izán, al que perteneció como aldea hasta el primer tercio del siglo XIX. Símbolo de origen primitivo. Todo ello bajo la Corona Real, como símbolo de la monarquía española. |
