Description
Español: Escudo del municipio de Yaguara (Huila).

"La “Y”, color rojo da realce al nombre de nuestro municipio que en lengua nativa significa “Campo Sangriento”, la iglesia erigida sobre la Y, obra arquitectónica de estilo neogótico, orgullo de la comunidad yaguareña y centro de admiración de visitantes, declarada patrimonio cultural, según acuerdo Nº. 025 de 1999. Hacia el lado derecho se levanta imponente el samán, árbol tradicional de nuestro municipio e inspiración de nuestro himno “Tierra Yaguareña”. El toro ubicado sobre la margen izquierda, hace honor al nombre de capital ganadera del Huila, que por muchos años ha ostentado el Municipio. El escudo reposa sobre cuatro banderas astadas del Municipio de Yaguará, estas banderas van recogidas hacia el vértice del escudo. En una cinta de color verde, asida al escudo y ondeante, va escrito en letras negra mayúscula “Municipio de Yaguará “"
