Description
Français : À droite de la miniature sont représentés les rois mages ainsi que leur suite. Ayant enlevé leur couronne, les trois rois sont prosternés : l'un — Melchior — baise les pieds du Christ, le deuxième — Balthasar — embrasse le sol, et le troisième — Gaspard — porte son présent. En même temps que les mages sont représentés, les bergers sont eux-aussi en adoration devant l'Enfant Jésus. Ils sont présents l'un à côté de la Vierge, les autres derrière la crèche, leurs moutons paissant sur les collines à l'arrière. La Vierge est entourée de femmes habillées en costumes à la mode du début du XVe siècle. La ville à l'arrière, censée représenter Bethléem, reprend peut-être l'apparence de la ville de Bourges.
