English: The Basilica di Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari, monument to Titian. Titian had wished to be buried in the Basilica of the Frari. He was buried at the monument dedicated to him on August 27, 1576. The monument is made of Carrara marble, it is due to the work of the brothers Luigi and Pietro Zandomeneghi, Canova disciples. The mausoleum is situated at the foot of the cross for which Titian made his last work, the Pietà, currently on display at the Academy. At the center of the monument: the statue crowned with laurels Titian is accompanied by the allegories of universal nature, the spirit of knowledge, in addition to painting, sculpture, graphic arts and architecture. At the base, the statue of Charles V and Ferdinand I of Austria, the two emperors for which he had worked. On the bottom five reliefs recall the most important religious works of the artist: the Assumption in the center, Peter of Verona to the left, the martyrdom of St. Lawrence on the right; The entablature above the right Visitation and the Descent from the Cross to the left. At the top of the monument stands the Lion of St.Marc with the coat of arms of the Habsburgs. The monument was restored in 1996.

Il à été inhumé dans le monument qui lui est consacré le 27 Août, 1576. Le monument est en marbre de Carrare, il est due au travail des frères Luigi et Pietro Zandomeneghi, disciples de Canova. Le mausolée est situé au pied de la croix pour laquelle Titien a fait son dernier ouvrage, la Pietà, actuellement exposé à l'Académie. Au centre du monument : la statue du Titien couronné de lauriers est accompagné par les allégories de la nature universelle, le génie de la connaissance, en plus de ceux de la peinture, de la sculpture, des arts graphiques et de l’architecture. A la base, les statue de Charles V et de Ferdinand Ier d'Autriche, les deux empereurs pour lesquels il avait travaillé. Sur le fond cinq bas-reliefs rappellent les œuvres religieuses les plus importantes de l'artiste: l'Assomption au centre, Pierre de Vérone à gauche, le martyre de Saint-Laurent à droite; au dessus de l'entablement : "La Visitation" droite et la Descente de la Croix à gauche. Au sommet du monument se dresse le lion de Saint-Marc avec le blason des Habsbourg. Le monument a été restauré en 1996.
Italiano: La Basilica di Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari, monumento al Tiziano. Tiziano aveva voluto essere sepolto nella Basilica dei Frari. Fu sepolto presso il monumento a lui dedicato 27 agosto 1576. Il monumento è realizzato in marmo di Carrara, è dovuto al lavoro dei fratelli Luigi e Pietro Zandomeneghi, discepoli Canova. Il mausoleo si trova ai piedi della croce per la quale Tiziano ha fatto la sua ultima opera, la Pietà, attualmente in mostra presso l'Accademia. Al centro del monumento: la statua coronato di alloro Tiziano è accompagnato dalle allegorie della natura universale, spirito di conoscenza, oltre a pittura, scultura, arti grafiche e l'architettura. Alla base, la statua di Carlo V e Ferdinando I d'Austria, i due imperatori per cui aveva lavorato. Sul fondo cinque rilievi ricordano le più importanti opere religiose dell'artista: l'assunzione nel centro, Pietro da Verona a sinistra, il martirio di San Lorenzo a destra; La trabeazione sopra la Visitazione destra e la Deposizione dalla Croce a sinistra. Nella parte superiore del monumento si trova il Leone di San-Marc con lo stemma degli Asburgo. Il monumento è stato restaurato nel 1996.
