Description
English: Gamla Uppsala Church, with its roots in the 11th century. On the site stood in ancient times a pagan temple (or a banquet hall). Old Uppsala was a place of cult, marketing and justice, central in the old realm of the Swedes.
Svenska: Gamla Uppsala kyrka, med rötter i 1000-talet. På platsen stod under forntiden ett hedniskt tempel (eller en gästabudshall). Gamla Uppsala var en forntida kult- marknads- och tingsplats som var ett centrum i det gamla Sveariket.
