Deutsch: "Die Hinterglasmalerei zeigt ein kleines Mädchen, bei dem es sich wohl um Friederike von Baden (1781-1826) handelt, eine der sechs Töchter des Erbprinzen Karl Ludwigs von Baden (1755-1801) und der Amalie von Hessen-Darmstadt (1754-1832). Das pausbäckige Kind hat kurze, blonde Haare und trägt ein quergestreiftes weißes Mousselinekleid mit roter Schärpe. Auf dem vor ihm stehenden Stuhl liegen ein roter Beutel, ein offenes Heft in Breitformat sowie ein ovaler Spankasten mit Blumensträußen. Friederike von Baden wurde durch die Heirat mit Gustav IV. Wasa (1778-1815) Königin von Schweden. Gustav IV. wurde 1809 entthront, und die königliche Familie musste fliehen. Nach ihrer Scheidung ließ sich Königin Friederike in Karlsruhe nieder und erwarb das so genannte "Schwedenpalais" gegenüber der heutige Führungsakademie des Landes Baden-Württemberg in der Hans-Thoma-Straße. Das Bild wird Nikolas Fischer (1726-1795) zugeschrieben, der nicht nur Hoforganist war sondern auch Lehrer für Schönschreiben und Zeichnen an der "Evangelisch Lutherischen Teutschen Schule zu Carlsruhe"." |
