Description
English: Young female specimen of the dragonfly Gomphus flavipes ("River Clubtail").
Deutsch: Junges Weibchen der Asiatischen Keiljungfer (Gomphus flavipes). Beachte die typische Brustzeichnung. Das Tier habe ich leblos (scheinbar ertrunken) auf der Oberfläche eines Tümpels treibend gefunden und zum Fotografieren auf dem Untergrund "zurechtgesetzt". Etwas später ist dann völlig überraschend wieder Leben in die Libelle gekommen. Die mehr osteuropäisch-asiatisch verbreitete Art ist in Westdeutschland sehr selten (aber zeitweise in Ausbreitung?); ich fand nur dieses eine Exemplar in einer Kiesgrube am Rand der niedersächsischen Elbtalaue (Wendland).
