(Note : Cette attribution par Bibliothèque et Archives Canada (BAC) à un «Jules B. Livernois» est confondante. Il ne peut pas s'agir de Jules Benoît dit Livernois, puisqu'il est mort l'année précédant la prise de cette photographie. Cette photographie pourrait vraisemblablement être l'oeuvre d'Élise L'Heureux, son épouse, souvent identifiée comme «Mme Jules B. Livernois» et qui continuait leur entreprise commune de photographie avec le studio Livernois et Bienvenu, ou de son fils Jules-Ernest (qui avait alors 14 ou 15 ans). La notice de BAC au sujet d'une autre photo semblable [1] donne un indice qui permet de penser qu'il s'agit en effet d'Élise L'Heureux, bien qu'apparemment cette notice de BAC ait ensuite été modifiée pour créditer Jules-Ernest, peut-être parce que des photos de Jules Benoît, d'Élise L'Heureux et de la période du studio Livernois et Bienvenu (1865-1873) se sont retrouvées incluses par BAC avec des photos de la période plus directement associée à Jules-Ernest (après 1873) dans une collection globalement intitulée Jules-Ernest Livernois.)
