(b. 1515, Wittenberg, d. 1586, Weimar) Venus and Amor - Wood, 196 x 89 cm Alte Pinakothek, Munich Lucas the Younger was the son and pupil of Lucas the Elder. He run the workshop of his father in Weimar and worked as a portraitist. Beside the portraits he painted allegoric paintings, too. Only a few authentic works are known.
