Description
English: Different patterns with half-pitch < 0.5 λ/NA require different illuminations. While the simple line-space pattern on the left merely requires two poles, the staggered brick pattern on the right contains line break patterns which require a different set of poles (red),[1] incompatible with the original two poles.
