Aquarelle sur traits à la mine de plomb. Signé en bas, à droite, à la mine de plomb. Indications en haut, à la mine de plomb :grand maître de cérémonie, et au centre, et dans le coin supérieur droit, à la plume et encre brune :Na les autres grands offrs ont même forme de broderie la couleur seule diffère selon le décret.

Il s'agit ici d'une des nombreuses études exécutées pour le Sacre (cf. Mme de Barily-Callimaki, Jean-Baptiste Isabey, 1909, p. 69-112). Le Cabinet des dessins possède les études d'Isabey pour les costumes et décorations des personnalités participant au Congrès de Vienne (dessins RF 3655 à RF 3676)
