Description
English: This is a repeat of a watercolour Petersen made of the Sara between 1836 and 1840, but set in the surroundings of Heligoland. True to the spirit of a ship's portrait, the Sara is also seen (to the left) from another angle.
Dansk: Petersen havde lavet et af sine almindelige skibsportrætter af Sara (bygget i 1836) med pen og vandfarve. Her har han malet skibet i olie - flyttet til Helgoland - men stadig med skibsportrættets metodik, hvor man til venstre ser fartøjet fra en anden vinkel.
