Description

Портрет Елизаветы Ивановны Бантыш-Каменской, незаконная дочь И.С.Барятинского. 1823 год. Холст, масло. Ярославский художественный музей.

К числу уникальных произведений из коллекции можно отнести «Портрет Е. Бантыш-Каменской», работы Якова Аргунова (установлено экспертизой в 1988 году во ВНИИРе, эксперты М.Красилин, Б.Лукьянов), приписываемый ранее его брату, более известному крепостному художнику Николаю Аргунову. Так считал и В.В.Ашик, хотя кроме авторства портрет привлекал его личностью изображенной. Не случайно на подрамнике — целая биография: «Портрет Елизаветы Ивановны Бантыш-Каменской (1798–1834) рожд. Бибитинской, дочь кн. Барятинского и Ан. Бибиковой, мать С.Д.Кузиной, умершей в Петербурге в 1907».
